In partnership with The Nest Theater, this thoughtful fundraiser is montage-style improv inspired by a word from another language that is not translatable into English, prioritizing words from languages of communities that are large in our diverse Columbus population. E.g. The word "Ilunga"in Tshiluba (Republic of Congo) is explained as, "It describes a person who is ready to forgive any transgression a first time and then to tolerate it for a second time, but never a third time." 25% of all proceeds will be raised for our year-round partner Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRISOhio.org) in this wonderful event! Cast includes wonderful performers: Hilary Buchanan, Katie Costello, Tara DeFrancisco, Rance Rizzutto, Alexx Stanton, LT Thornton, and Michael Tonovitz from various Nest Mainstage shows. Come laugh for a great cause!

The Columbus Funny Art Showcase is a live experience of visual art installations with comedic themes, where an immersive extension of the punchline is transformed into a physical comedy gallery. Guests are invited to explore the gallery to see art installations designed to spark laughter before a show even begins. The art itself is funny, weird, clever, or satirical, and the environment amplifies laughter the same way a comedy venue does.
